What is the Silvers Summit?It’s both a full day conference and an exhibition that focuses exclusively on high-tech products and services that cater to the mature (over 45 years old) population. Why now?Baby boomers account for nearly 30% of the U.S. population. It is also the wealthiest generation in the United States, with an estimated annual spending power of over $2 trillion. Baby boomers will invest in entertainment systems, home security systems, and communications. When is the Summit?It takes place on Saturday, January 9, 2010, at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. How can I register to attend?To visit the exhibition, you must be an attendee of CES. Registration information for CES, as well as Summit attendence information, will be posted when it becomes available. How can I register to exhibit?Just drop us a note and we will work with you to create a memorable experience for attendees. Is there a charge to attend the Summit?No. The conference is free of charge to registered CES attendees. What can I expect to see at the Summit?There is a growing list of products that target the mature market. The Summit will bring leaders of industry, analysts, policy makers, journalist and others who have a stake in the boomer community. We will look at home automation, proactive health products, and specially designed technology to facilitate communications, entertainment and connectivity for seniors.
